Current guidance from our governing body suggests training should be able to resume from 17 May 2021. There will probably be Covid restrictions in place at first but these will be reviewed as time moves on. If you want to know more about training or the safety measures that are likely to be in place, please contact Rob by email or phone.
In addition to the measures outlined for training at Woodbury, please bring your own hand sanitizer to Otterton for use before and after training.
Following the publication of guidelines by the EKF and the updated conditions of hire of Woodbury Village Hall, we are now ready to resume indoor training on Sundays from 10:10am. Phase 1 is a return to non-contact training with social distancing compliance, along with a number of other safety measures. Do not train if you or anyone in your household has any COVID-19 symptoms. Normal rules for isolation and shielding must be observed. A register of your attendance will be kept so please let me know if your contact details have changed so that I have up-to-date records. You can attend pre-booked sessions and must arrive dressed in your gi (karate suit) as changing facilities will not be available. You must have clean footwear for training to avoid potential transmission…
Training is currently suspended for the winter due to me receiving knee surgery. If recovery goes well classes will resume early in the new year. More information to come as it's known.
Apologies for short notice.
